SafeZone Community Art Center Summer Band Camp will be held at Divine Word Lutheran Church, 5505 W. Lloyd Street again this year. The dates are Monday through Friday, August 14-18, 9am-1:30pm.
Music Camp will include a pre-band component that serves as in introduction to instruments, rhythm and notes.
Rhythm workshops, master classes and band rehearsals will also be offered, in addition to art and drama workshops may be included in the camp program.
The finale is the Summer Camp Concert at Divine Word, Friday, August 18 at 7pm. The public is invited to attend. All are welcome!
Camp includes a continental-style breakfast and lunch.
All children who will be entering Grades 6 through 8 are eligible. Camp registration is $60 for the entire week but no student will be turned away because of inability to pay.
